The next number in a Collatz sequence is computed with the following formula:
If the current number is even, divide it by two.
If the current number is odd, multiply it by 3 and then add 1
Continue until the current number is equal to one.
The Collatz Conjecture is that this sequence will converge to 1 for any given N, N>0.
You will write a program in MIPS assembly using MPLAB that will print the Collatz sequence which starts with the value 19. Your program will also print the number of terms in the sequence starting with 27 as well as 159487. Notice that you need only print the number of terms in those sequences, not the sequence itself. Correctly producing output means that you have line endings where appropriate and your output is readable (no strings of leading zeros on numbers).
The number of terms in the sequence starting with 159487 is not 247. You may not use any of the built in library procedures for your printing, you must do it yourself. You must write your own assembly, you may not write the program in C and use the disassembly from the compiler.
**Include a comment line at the top of your program with what elements you have working and what elements aren't working**
