Hello, I have very good hands in would like someone to design and draw a new almost horizontal steel walkway. The walkway connects the top floor of the property to the exterior garden ,space . The length of the existing walkway is approx 20 foot. the picture attached shows the existing walkway.. Hello, I can help with this project, unfortunately I can’t sign it off at this moment. I can do this for £500, however you will need to find a an incorporated or chartered to CAT II check and sign off the design, usual rate is approx £150/hour. Will not take them more than 1hour to check it. Looking at picture, the bearing wall looks damaged, there is a change that some propping will be required, I can’t make an assessment of the bearing on the house side of the walkway. More information will be needed, I would recommend aluminium walkway maybe even proprietary system, depending on your budget, to lower the bearing pressure on the masonry walls.
