I am looking for a programmer to program a Gcode interpreter or parser for a multi-axes standalone controller with integrated BGA and special 4 axes motion control chip. The program must be written in C for the BGA used on this controller. Also significant understanding of motion control applications is required. The parser is supposed to run on the BGA and read the Gcode and output a corresponding file and send it directly to the motion control chip to fulfill the path as described in the Gcode file. The basic functionality which I wish to have is described in the PDF file [login to view URL] attached to this project description and which was written for an older controller with different type of motion control processor. The file "[login to view URL]" shows a sample gcode file with needed gcodes. The file "[login to view URL]" decribes the motion controller on which the parser is supposed to run. It incorporates the microcontroller SC143 from Beck-IPC. The parser must be written in C for a x86 DOS-similar operating system. All information for the chip can be found at [login to view URL] The manual "[login to view URL]" describes the motion control chip functionality for which the gcode needs to be interpreted. The MCX314As as used on this controller has special features to do linear, bit pattern and circular interpolated moves. It manages the interface to the amplifiers/motors on the one side and communicates with the software running on the BGA othersides. These functions can be used for easy integration of gcode interpolation information. How to use: the Gcode file is sent via the ethernet interface to the controller board using the integrated FTP server. Via the host computer using the ethernet or serial interface (via telnet or ssh) the program is executed on the controller board and the gcode file is loaded and automatically or manually starts output of the corresponding MCX314As commands to the motion control chip. The motion control chip executes the path information. If additional information is required to get a full overview of the work that may be needed then contact me before bidding.
