Game engine graphics revamp for verticality and scale

I am working on a modification for Wolfenstein 3D - a First Person Shooter genre game for the PC.

The refresh rate of the engine (frames per second) is of key importance. Bug free implementation is vital here.

This project involves code development for new features we require. To complete this project you must be able to get up to speed with the design and implementation of the current engine - and then be able to extend it to our needs.

You will not necessarily be provided with game art files. You will only be provided with enough information to complete the task. Code submitted must be well designed and of a high quality. I am using bitbucket as host for the git repository so familiarity with git would be helpful.

You may develop on Linux using GNU tools (e.g., Make, GCC, Vim, etc). The project already provides a working Makefile for the Linux system so it should be easy to get started.

I am using Mingle to manage this project's tasks and markdown for documentation.
