porting xenix program to windows

Xenix programs can be ported to Windows as well as other OSs as required. Will you please let me know of any specific concerns? I do development with C++, for engineering native solutions. Let's cite specific milestones, while I look through the sources attached.

Dear Employer I already took a look at the attached tar files and have found that the source code of the programs "engineer" and "gear1-5" only need some minor modifications to be compiled on a modern Linux environment (I testet with Debian/Ubuntu). So I was already able to successfully run the Engineer program in a Linux terminal. Maybe the use of Linux (for example in a virtual machine) is already sufficient for your needs? Or would it be sufficient if the program runs on Windows as a console application in the command line (like it does on a linux terminal)? The three days refer to a linux version and include a safety margin in case of unforeseen difficulties, ideally it should go much faster. Best regards
