As a part of the project we wish to develop, we need a fast, efficent and yet robust algorithm and code to slice and re-triangulate the input mesh data. The project will be developed in wpf with C# steps: 1. Visualisation of the 3D mesh data on the screen. The user is not allowed to modify the pre-installed 3D model. Only rotate, zoom in/zoom out and select the by clicking will be allowed for the user. 2. The model will be sliced with a 2D plane and a new model will be created. It should also return the intersection ray list of the model and the plane. 3. Computation of mass properties such as volume, the location of the center of volume, surface area, etc. Thank you all in advance.
