development of Azure-based Batch/Job Queue system

We are preparing to launch a software application and are looking for help with discreet projects that are part of last few sprints before release. For this project, we're interested in setting up a batch/job queueing system which will receive requests to perform resource-intensive actions for our software product to be released.
For the simple version, we could accept a system which can receive requests into the queue, starting each request whenever the previous finishes.
The ideal system would run on an application server in an Azure cloud environment.
Requests would be sent from another server in the same environment. It's possible that this job comes down to a recommendation to use an existing system consulting work to help us set up that system.
If any third-party libraries, plugins, assets, or code is used in this solution, we will need to review the cost and licensing agreement(s) of each before approving their use in this solution.
