C# Library Conversion from UWP to WPF(.NET 4.6.2) Involving Direct2D

A current library version (LottieWPF) is based on an older version of LottieUWP (UWP port of lottie-android) providing the display of Lottie animations for WPF projects. LottieUWP has been updated in the meantime and makes use of the Win2D library (UWP only) now.
Your job is to update the LottieWPF library or create a new .NET 4.6.2-based library providing the same functionality as LottieUWP or lottie-android for WPF projects.
