Job - Create online air contiditioner maintenance team website Task 1- Review existing stand alone application written in vb for desktop 2- Define how much of existing application can be applied to online application. 3- New Site New online website will be subscription based. Site reports will be adjiustable for each subscriber. 4- Code has to commented for future maintenane I've been doing software develpmenet for 20+ year and .microsoft development for 18 years. My last project was developing a inventory applicaiton for a medical supply company that had to maintain a inventory of equipment and what customer was scheduled to receive the equipment. Each sales person had a general login to add their request and managers had admin rights to review and modify sales orders. Reporting was done using rdl reports. Question Does the desktop application have the valuies need for any drop downs in the applications or should the subsriber be able to add their own custom types. Will the report be plain reports or do you want ot add capability to print to text, excel, pdf? I have experience in programming in c# and .net using sql server as the database. Depending on the complexity of the desktop application I can complete the site in 30 days or less. A better estimate of completion can be made after review your existing desktop application.
