I have an 18 years old legacy Win 32 bits dll VST plugin (not protected in any way) that I need to be converted into an OSX AU 64 bits component so that it can be fully functional within Logic Pro X. It is an audio effect, not an instrument. And it's a basic one. It's not a pirate plugin, it's a legacy one that has been freely provided to the community with no chance of being updated or ported to OSX, ever. This is the only way I want it to be: a 32 bits Win dll converted into a functional 64 bit AU component. No Wine, no internal audio routing, no workaround or anything. People pretending to know how to do this are numerous but most of the time, they don't have a clue and just want to con you so, if you are qualified, I need to know your approach on how you would proceed to do this. So that I can verify if you really know your stuff and if I can trust you. If you a re serious about this, you will probably understand my reservations. The dll will be provided in due time. Thanks.

Hello I am a macOS system developer and a hobbyist musician. I also have a background in Applied Mathematics. Please take a look at the list of my past projects - I have created Audio Units (both Instrumental and Effect ones) for Logic and MainStage. The approach this task takes is analyzing/reverse engineering of the existing VST's signal processing chain and building an AU based on that. The algorithm reverse-engineering part can be non-trivial: sometimes it is easier to replicate the effect based on analysis of inputs and outputs instead of carbon-copying the algorithm, although the latter can be done too. Note that it may be illegal to sell such an AU without permission from the original creator of the VST.
