Hi, My name is Taylor Walker and I am a Real estate investor based out of Los Angeles. My job is to find properties through various methods, buy them, fix them, and then resale them. Most of the leads that I get come from real estate agents, so for this project I am looking to build up my contacts of real estate agents so that I can send them personalized emails to each one of them introducing myself and inquiring into whether or not they have any properties that would fit my buying criteria. I've already come to the conclusion that my job is all about the numbers. The more agents I have contact with, the better off I will be, and the more opportunities I will come across.
I am looking for someone to import contact information from a website called [login to view URL] to my google spreadsheet I have listed as "Real Estate Agents". The job is pretty simple, I need someone to copy and paste the real estate agent's contact information and property address into the spreadsheet to build the database. There are about 300 active listings in the city of Santa Monica, Pasadena, and Altadena, and I need the information of each of those agents in my database so I can start communication via a CRM tool. Here are the steps:
1) go to [login to view URL] and type in "Santa Monica" "Pasadena" and "Altadena" in the search bar. Then click on the tab "Real Estate" which should be right next to the tab called "City Overview".
2) once on the real estate tab, sort the listings by price from lowest to highest. And then there are two options: The first option would to be to click on the listing and then scroll down to find the agent information (first and last name, phone number, email address, property address) where you would then copy and paste the information into the database and then click "back" to return to the previous page. Second option (which is the safest) is the open each listing in a different tab when collecting the information. I've found this to be the best option because sometimes the website will revert back to the original homepage, thus having you lose your space.
Other things to note:
*There will be duplicates, meaning some agents will have more than one listing. I would just include all the information we can and then worry about the duplicates at the end.
*IMPORTANT: Please make sure all of the information is in the same format, meaning make sure the First name/Last name is first letter capital and the rest low case. Formatting is very important that it stays the same because it will come into play once I start sending out the emails. To make it easy all you have to do is follow the format that I have already done.
