My name is James and I am a business sustainability specialist and freediving instructor. I am presently researching the Wellness and Personal Growth industries, focusing on "Retreats"
The data obtained in this task will form the basis of analyses which will allow me to understand and adapt my own product in line with gaps in the market. I wish to firstly understand the available options and identify these gaps.
This task involves online research and excel data entry regarding type of wellness retreats available across Australia, Canada, Fiji, Indonesia (Bali), Mexico, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
The retreats will be classified across several headings including, Retreat Type, Retreat Activities, Number of Days, Country, Town/City/Village, Cost, AUD/USD, Accommodation Provided, Type of Accommodation, Food Provided, Type of Food.
The author needs has the autonomy to add fields as appropriate in order to be more specific.
What is a retreat?
A retreat is essentially time away from our everyday lives, whether we need a break from work, children, or are recovering from a break-up or a personal loss. It is also an opportunity to join together in with a group of people and share a collective experience, normally around a shared interest or desire.
Although one should feel rejuvenated from a retreat, they should not be confused with a holiday. In the last 20 years :Retreats" have grown in popularity and now these are an alternative to a traditional holiday for many people.
