File Renaming Project

I have a collection of 13,501 files to be renamed. The process is very simple.
Every file has a dvd code within it. DVD codes look like : ADN-044 or SOE-454 ... essentially a few letters followed by numbers.
How to rename file. The filenames need to be shortened.
for example: [ONED]-927 아오이 소라 needs to be cleaned up to: ONED-927
the format should always be a few captial letters followed by a dash and then follwed by numbers.
[2015-08-13][溜池ゴロ—][MEYD-056][FHD] 隣の若妻さん 通野未帆
would be renamed: MEYD-056
in the case that there is already a MEYD-056 .. then rename the second file MEYD-056_2
... if there is a third dupe .. then MEYD-056_3
lastly ... there are some files that look like this ... STAR-7747.03G A ... with a corresponding STAR-7747.03G B ... ( or in some cases filename_1 and filename_2) these files go together ... don't edit - just put in a seperate folder...
If you are unable to easily recognize the dvd-code then simply put in a unknown folder.
The key is NOT to delete any files.
