I registered with Freelancer in February last year and have 61 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing and proofreading. I am a parent (of the "older woman" variety) who read many books about parenting when I was a young parent and joined a number of relevant groups. I have ongoing freelance work editing papers for an online journal for translators and interpreters and have just begun as the copy editor for The International Journal of Wellbeing, another online journal. Having been a teacher of English in high school for four years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays.
