Device to monitor a resistance value and convert to a 0-5v output presented over a CAN bus and a analog output with bad value rejection.
This project is based on the STM32 processor. Arduino is not an appropriate option for this project. The project has been developed using Atmel Studio and Atmel Explain development boards with some Arduinio parts. The goal for this particular project is to take the current device and software which has been used for data gathering and testing and enhance it to produce an output via CAN bus and / or an analog 0--5v voltage, As the testing that has been done so far indicates that the input resistance value fluctuates quite a lot, software algorithms will be needed to filter the input values to produce an accurate output value. An accelerometer is used to aid in the filtering process.
After the prototype is completed (using either the Atmel or Discovery development boards), a custom pcb will be required to turn the solution into a commercial product. A working prototype using the custom pcb will be required along with pcb layout files and a complete build sheet.
