I have done my Dissertation work on Axial Flux (AF) machines in my PG. The arrangement of stator and rotors, flux direction in Radial Flux (RF)and AF machines are entirely different from each other. Relevant Skills and Experience Incase of RF machines, the working flux(WF) enters and leaves the rotor radially, where as incase of AF machines (stator & rotors are placed side by side) the WF enters and leaves the rotor axially.
