Hi, I'm making a word clock similar to this one here: [login to view URL] I have made a smaller clock and tested that my ARDUINO code is working perfectly, however I would like to add an external clock, a DS3231 to keep the time instead of the arduino Uno internal clock and I need help with changing the code so that it uses the external clock instead. I will also be adding a light sensor to the underneath of the clock which will sense the brightness in the room and adjust the light of the LEDs appropriately - darker if the room is dark and brighter if the room is lighter obviously. The LED's are NEOXPIXELS which will be daisy chained and soldered together. I have attached the current clock code that I have written, which doesn't include the code for the external clock and light sensor.

Hello, i could build it for you using the DS1307 real time clock which will also do the same work! It may require you to add small push buttons to set or adjust the dates and time of the RTC. PWM will be used to alter the brightness of the led - which is based on the amount of available light.
