Task 1.1: Setting up the project template 1. Open Simplicity Studio and then switch to the Simplicity IDE. V3: There is a link directly on the start page. V4: There is a small tool button on the top of the start window. 2. Download the project template from Moodle. 3. In the Simplicity IDE create a new project: • File ! New ! Project ! Silicon Labs MCU project • Choose EFM32 Happy Gecko Starter Kit Board under Board. • Make sure that an SDK is selected. • On the next page select Empty C Program. • Give your project a name, select Copy Contents, then click finish. 4. Delete the .c file in the src folder, then copy the downloaded files to your project All files in emlib ! emlib main.c ! src 5. Build the project: Right-click on the project’s name ! Build Project. Please you will be connected to my pc through teamviewer and i will test it on the hardware
