Build a small device with DC motor, reversing rotation switch and battery

We need a small device which uses a small DC or similar motor. The motor should be as SMALL as possible, low speed, with very LOW NOISE, reversing rotation CW and CCW and for a very light duty. The motor should be attached to a battery. The battery should be as SMALL as possible, durable, and rechargeable (Lithium Ion Polymer) or non-rechargeable as the engineer's suggestion suitable for the device. A switch will be needed to run the motor forward, backward and stop positions. The switch should also be as SMALL as possible and with 3 points of forward, reverse and stop positions. The main criteria for the device is to keep it as small as possible. Please suggest what is the smallest dimensions you can design the device with. The power of the motor is not necessary since the motor will do a very light duty. The design should be realistic and manufacturable. We will need a suggestion how to produce the device, sourcing the components of the device and potential manufacturers.
