I need somebody to explain the dynamics of a small pressure vessel filled with refrigerant. The main aim is to calculate the expanded volume of gas released from the tank, over a short period of time - under standard pressure and temperature. See attachment. Somebody with good knowledge in gasses and relevant equations here.
If the valve needs sizing, this can be a 3 dia mm orifice. Im hoping for excel sheet/equation first - not CFD.
My ultimate aim is to know what the volume of gas would be in chamber 2 after 3 seconds of main pressure degas.
