Looking for someone that knows how to operate a long distance controlled rc-plane

I am writing today to inquire about the possibility of flying a plane from location A to location B. As a video production assistant at ‘Reversal Studio’, I’m looking at the possibility of flying 1,500 miles to capture images and video footage of the pacific coastline of South America; from Ecuador, which is known for the beautiful beaches, towards Chile. I have been informed that most of these RC planes that we are planning to use for the project do not travel further than a mile before we lose a connection from the control system. Therefore what we have in mind is using a GPS system throughout satellite to monitor the plane’s trip and complete the project safely. From what I have learned, I have understanding that one of the only ways to achieve this is by enhancing the receiver and incrementing the TX power. I want to know what alternatives or what other recommendations would you give us? Hence, what is better between a gas, solar or hybrid plane for this, etc. We are looking for someone who would like to to join our project. All expenses would be paid for and there will be monetary recognition for all your work. Based on how long our projects you will be paid for your work done before the project takes place and also will have a continuous-ongoing pay while working with us. Thank You
