We are Construction Metal Products, a small metal roofing manufacturing company. We are creating a new inventory system and need the name of some inventory data items re-arranged. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with basic Excel functions, particularly text editing. JOB DESCRIPTION: Edit the text in 943 cells of an Excel spreadsheet. The text contains names to be used for inventory parts. Two steps need to be completed: 1. The order of the information in these item names needs to changed, based on prescribed parameters and to achieve consistency. Specifically, the information in these item names needs to be displayed in the following order: Item description – gauge – size – color – vendor. 2. Copy this column of data into a second column. Then, in the second column, delete the color information from the item names for certain items.
