Full stack developer - Full time or Part time

Job description: We are looking for an experienced Full Stack developer to enhance and support our existing Systems developed using the Django Rest Framework and Angular. You would also be required to lead or be part of development of new web applications planned to initiate in 2021. You should have at least 5 years’ experience as a Full stack developer building scalable web applications. You would be required to work closely with our product team for continuous improvement of the current application and either lead or take part in development of new applications planned in 2021. We are looking for someone at senior level or with adequate experience that can also architect, review and recommend appropriate solutions ensuring best practices are used. Ideally the candidate should have experience leading a small team of internal and external resources to implement solutions. ● Design, construction and maintenance of web-based applications ● Manages a team of internal and external resources to achieve objectives including coordination with oterh developers when required ● Can also acts as PM for new web applications initiatives ● Ensure products or project are robust, scalable and extensible ● Define/Design architect and execute projects. ● Develop a road map of the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state ● Manages the documentation of all solutions, architecture design and analysis work ● Translate business requirements and needs into web application design. ● Ensure compliance of best practices and policies in software development. ● Effective planning, testing, implementation and administration of interactive technologies, websites, applications Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field preferred, progressive experience in web applications development and design ● Experience as a software engineer and/or architect including experience leading development teams ● Django (Python, Rest Framework, ORM, Migrations and Pure SQL schema modifications, Templates for mail build out) ● Angular (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS ● Python Web Server (preferably Apache with WSGI / uWSGI, static content serving) ● RDBMS (preferably MySQL) ● HTTP/S communication (REST, JSON, XML, JWT authentication, basic GraphQL / Graphene Python understanding) ● Web Sites and Web Applications (MVC, Client – Server / Server – Server communication) ● Search Solutions (preferably Apache SolR) ● Mail Server Integration (sending and polling e-mails over SMTP / IMAP) ● Linux (preferably Ubuntu Server) ● Proficient in the art of Git source control or similar ● Incremental Software Build Out (incorporating new requirements and feedback in previously developed features and pre-existing solutions) ● Experienced in Test-Driven Development, unit testing, and clean code ● Experience creating solutions using PaaS with cloud platforms specially Microsoft Azure ● Capacity Planning & Hardware Sizing for the Solution ● Application Security Design
