Brand Identity

We are a MedTech company with a number of platform technologies (gels, sprays and ointments, dressings) capable of delivering topical solutions in medical and cosmetic markets. Currently we are largely focussed on burns as these products form the basis of our patented technology. Currently all our business in B2B, whereby we license our products as white label solutions to larger pharma/retail organisations who have sales, marketing and distribution capabilities and we focus on the R&D. However we are now at a point where we want to launch our own brand products, firstly in a somewhat new category of emergency burn care treatment, in-home burn care but also could expand to professional use like professional kitchens, sports facilities, police dept etc. Products will include emergency burn dressing, a spray on dressing, a ointment and a hydrogel. These products are unique as anything else on the market uses menthol which makes your body feel like the area is cooling without reducing temperature, whereas our patented products extract the heat from the burnt area, removing the pain within minutes and reducing inflammation and redness. Given we will have limited resources to support the launch of the new brands, we should consider a narrow launch strategy that drives adoption of the brand and product within an particular and existing community ([login to view URL] of young children in country X). We will be selling the product through e-commerce platforms and on our own web shop initially and then OTC in pharmacies and super markets. What I want to do is to create a brand identity around these products, from brand name, look and feel. Along with a brand and marketing strategy.
