There are three groups of users: Students, Teachers and Coordinators. There's also one admin.
Each school year the coordinator of a school submits an excel file with all student data to the admin.
(Schoolyear, School, StudentID, StudentName, StudentSurname, Class, Email, Password)
The admin will upload this excel file and the system needs to add this information.
Students will be in a different class each schoolyear, but the system needs to keep all the old information.
When the admin has uploaded the file. There will be a form (Schoolyear, school, CoordinatorName, CoordinatorSurname, CoordinatorEmail, password) where the admin can add coordinators for different schools. Then the coordinators can add teachers through a form that will need the following info: (Schoolyear, school, TeacherName, TeacherSurname, TeacherEmail, passwords, classes (tick boxes from excel file students!)) Coordinators must be able to change the information( sick leave etc).
The coordinator needs to be able to add projects through a form. (ProjectName, Domains (Tick boxes), Research/Design, Lower/Medium/Upper/Master level, duration(8 or 16 weeks), qualities (tickboxes).
The teacher is then able to define groups in one or multiple classes (tickboxes). Each group or multiple groups (tickboxes) can be connected to a project.
Defining groups can be done manually or automatically (with different conditions; boy/girl, grade last project, etc).
When groups are made. Students can log in and they have three possibilities:
- Active project
- Project History
- Development
In the "Active project" there is the information about the project, class, teacher, schoolyear etc. There needs to be an envirenmont in wich student can share a link to a dropbox/OneDrive/google drive folder where they store their products for that project (GROUP). There needs to be a GANTT chart (GROUP) where they can plan their project and a LOG (INDIVIDUAL) where a student evaluates the week.
Then there needs to be a link to a form where the students in a group can grade each other on different qualities (assigned by coordinator with the project). This needs to be done a few times during the project. The teacher needs to be able to open and close this form.
When this form had been used, in the "active project" there will be graphs visible, so students can see their progress.
In the "Project history" the students can see all the projects they have done and the grades they got. When they click on a project they see the overview of the "Active project" of the old project. they can click the link to the dropbox folder, see the graphs of the grades etc...
In the "development" section there will be a test that they can make where a radar graph will be the result. They can invite others through email to fill out the test about them, so the radar graph can compare the results of the student himself and the other view of him.
There will also be a rubric on which they can click in each row to tell us what level of that quality he possesses. He needs to be able to add links to a file in dropbox/OneDrive/google drive to prove that he possesses this level.
When a teacher logs in he can define the groups as descriped above. He can also set the number of gradings the students will do and open each of them or close them.
He himself will be able to grade the groups of students. (maybe an assisting app for the phone can be made where he can give students + or -) The form will give this information, so he can use it when he grades the students.
He is also able to view each active project and the GANTT chart of a group, but also the logs of the individual students. He can add comments to the log of an individual student.
