Idea: a web site to offer Rating service. Users will be able to rate a list of items Functionalities: Categories: Schools, Restaurants, Doctors (easy to add new category) Sub Category: Services: Private schools, public schools, university, college (easy to add new item) Doctors: private clinics, hospitals, … Users Level: Owner: Every item that is available for rating should have an owner. The owner is the actual owner or the officially nominated person to represent that item. The owner will be able to: • Provide description for the item (information, contact details, location, etc) • Respond to any comment from the users. • Contact users privately • Report any comment that is against the policy of WeRate. Users: Anyone can register in WeRate using his/her mobile number and email. Users can: • Browse all categories • View rating and other user’s comments • Rate items • Provide comments • Receive private messages Reviews Categories: The site should classify the user’s comments into two categories: • Customer Review: reviews from users will be considered as customer reviews • Professional review: WeRate will select and mark some users as “Professional users” in specific rating categories. These professional reviews will be highlighted for other users to see to help them in getting reviews from professionals. For example, quality specialists will be hired to provide quality certificate for restaurants or service providers who ask for it. Stars: Users will be rate by selecting number of stars out of 5. The rate of the item will be calculated based on the average rating of all users. The user will also be asked to provide comments on his/her rating. Register, To register the user should provide: • Name: real name • Nickname: the name shown when making comments • Email: will be used as the user id • Mobile number (private) • Password
