Convert raster image to hand crafted .svg compatible with modern browsers

Hand convert our company logo into a valid .svg. The final .svg should be hand crafted, carefully written, and be made up of the minimum number of elements which make it easy to work with by hand. We will be taking this .svg and animating, and displaying at a variety of resolutions. It isn't acceptable to load the .png or .ai file and use a export to .svg and pass this off as the deliverable. Feel free to use any tooling to help but the winning output will be opened in a text editor and checked by hand so don't include anything redundant or clearly not needed! The source images were created in image editing software. Don't aim for 100% pixel perfection. In particular the wavy curve cutting the logo in half horizontally and the shadow behind the logo can subtly differ and we won't mind. I'm sure you can tell what the aim of the logo is! The final deliverable should be the logo in three versions on a transparent background. 1. As per the .ai file. 2. Missing the shadow. 3.
