The project is called XP Minute. We make videos about video games that are 1 minute long or shorter. XP stands for experience points in video games.
We want a logo with yellow as a primary color. It's got to be abstract because we will animate it (ourselves) in an intro. Should be with thick strokes of a dark color (black or any other color) that make it cartoonish or comic-like.
Please see the attachments for an idea with an amateur try, but it's got very thick strokes. It's supposed to represent a controller's d-pad and an hourglass. It's alright to copy the idea unless you think you can do better.
