Design a simple theatre show poster

This is a need for a simple poster for an amateur drama show. The show is Private Lives by Noel Coward. It is a comedy-drama set in the 1930s. A key scene is a a man and woman (ex lovers) who meet across two balconies and their romance is rekindled.
Attached is someone else's show poster (copyrighted) with some text put on.
I am happy manipulating the text - what I am no good at is artwork.
We would be happy with something very similar to the attached poster - 1930s elegance / man / woman / hotel balcony would do nicely and I'm happy for royalty free artwork/silhouettes etc to be used. It doesn't need to be totally original work - just something simple to convey the message.
Final artwork will need to be printed CMYK at 300 dpi to A3 portrait. I will overlay text and group logo. A simple landscape and square variant of the images will also be needed to support social media promotion.
