Hi Freelancers,
I require a new logo design for my existing brand, called TATSU-KO. This is a brand of martial arts equipment, including boxings bags, focus pads, kick shields, etc. I have attached a copy of the old version of the logo; I would like this completely redesigned. The target audience is adults who are involved in martial arts, boxing, etc.
The basic layout of the logo should consist of:
- The head and frill of a Frill-Necked Lizard, above the word "TATSU-KO" in large, metallic block letters.
- The face of the lizard should be just poking above the text, with the top half of the head and eyes visible.
- A couple of the lizard's claws should be hanging over one side of the text.
(I have attached a quick sketch to illustrate the arrangement described above.)
The letters should be large, three dimensional, and appear to be made out of steel or iron. They should also have lots of small rivets in them. Google "metal rivets" to see what I mean. Colour: dark grey, brushed steel, metallic colour.
For the lizard's appearance, there are 2 options I had in mind: The first is to have the face and frill drawn flat and 2-dimensional, with the eyes in a similar style to the "Bad Boy" logo. The second is a more 3-dimensional, lifelike appearance, with more detail in the face, folds and shadows of the frill. I would like concepts showing both of these styles. Colour: predominantly orange (although it is OK to use other colours as well).
The background should be a light silver or very pale grey (The logo will be printed on a label of this colour).

- Industrial
- Constructional
- Bullet-proof
- Invokes power
- Confident
