I have two taps that are leaking slowly. 1. One supplies the toilet. The tap itself turns freely without ever stopping in the turned off position. Nevertheless, the leak is very slow. 2. The other is external and just has a regular, slow drip.

The best way to fix this problem is to simply replace the taps. I am quite capable of purchasing and replacing without making a mess. I am assuming the taps are standard cistern and external brass garden. kind regards John
