Childrens book illustration/Company logo design

We are looking to write a children's picture book which is centred around the adventure of our dog and we want to seek guidance and quotes on how much it may cost to hire an illustrator for our project to see if this is something we are able to do.
The first book would be about the dogs arrival to a new home and the first visit to the park and the friends she makes.
I envision a spread plus wrap cover for a 32 page maximum book. we want to scope prices before we begin to see if this is a viable option for [login to view URL] would love an illustrator who is comfortable to bring our vision to life and does not mind us directing the style of the illustration. Someone who has a talent for creating illustration which can be made interactive to engage young readers would be great.
We are at the very start of this project and are very much putting the feelers out to gain expert illustrators input on what we can expect and the potential cost of your skills.
Alongside this we are exploring the launch of an online company for which we would need a logo designed.
