I have run quite a number of campaigns with the display objective but the one i ran here and i have screenshots of result for goes thus:
Project Name: Genazzano FCJ College; A girls' only college in Australia
Objective: Using Adwords, get people/parents to signup/register for an Open Day Campaign
Duties:
* They were using a search campaign when i came on board but when i checked it out, it wasn't working. No signups was achieved in 2 months. The problem was people weren't actively searching for this so it was a wrong campaign objective.
I then created a Display campaign targeting by demographics which were;
i) Parents
ii) Age (over that 30)
I then also targeted by placements which were websites that parents or people older than 30 visit regularly.
These two were the main form of targeting i did, i then also help setup remarketing while still using a Display campaign
Achievement: In the first month after i joined, they had about 50 conversions (signups/registration) and about the same number in the second month too.
I am quite vast in Adwords with over 4 years experience and i always say Display campaign is always good for brand awareness and lead generation. It is usually way cheaper than Search Ads because most people concentrate on that and given time, it yield great results when setup well. Do chat me up so we can talk extensively and start this soon. Thank you
