I need a login created for a google chrome extension (you can use a sample basic extension from google) to carry out JWT authentication against an api endpoint URL. Basically the extension should use google standards to allow a user to login with a username and password, and store the access token. I dont need any other functionality, just the login process and authentication.

I read your post and I'm interested. I can build you this extension . So If I understand you need the extension to have username/password field.
