Mouseenter/mouseleave issue

The following script pauses the slide when hovered, but does not continue when unhovered. I need it to go to the next slide when the user is finished reading a slide and moves his/her mouse off of the current slide. What I've tried is shown and I also tried mouseover. Using bootstrap framework. So the least amount of script would be best.
