Refactor NightmareJS Script (Javascript)

I have written a NightmareJS script that logs into a google account. It's sometimes working, but it often breaks down and the code is also not very elegant. For a rough estimate of size, it's about 150 lines of code.
Your job is to take my existing code and refactor it, so it works > 90% of the time and is maintainable. Fixing functional issues is part of the job. Testing until it works is part of the job. Commenting your code is part of the job.
Your profile:
- ideally first experience with nightmareJS or willing to learn
- solid javascript fundamentals
- basic knowledge of web technologies
