I'm an attorney here in the US and I'm placing this bid solely to provide you with some advice concerning your project.
Being that the UK and the US have no reciprocity agreement in place, enforcement of a UK judgment can easily turn into a lengthier and more costly process than just simply getting a new judgment here in the states. Additionally, in my experience, I've seen far more foreign judgments found to be unenforceable than enforceable. I generally advise UK companies to save their time and money and just get a new judgment here in the states. Assuming the value of the debt is even worth the effort.
In sum, can you get the judgment recognized - MAYBE. Assuming the defendant will dispute the judgment, will it save time and money to just get a new judgment for the debt here in the US - PROBABLY.
Please only accept the bid made if you are looking to show gratitude for the advice provided (I wouldn't mind a good review). But otherwise, just consider this some friendly advice :) And in any case, I wouldn't accept anyone's bid to assist you in this matter - as you will likely end up needing an CO attorney if you want any real chance of getting the judgment recognized.
