System Administrator/ Website Infrastructure Administrator

I am looking for a skilled System Administrator/ Website Infrastructure Administrator who has experience with Windows operating system.
Tasks to be performed on the system include:
- Optimization and Performance Improvement to enhance the website's speed and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution to identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
- General Maintenance and Updates to ensure the system is up-to-date and functioning properly.
### **Job Title: Systems Administrator / Web Infrastructure Administrator**
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Web Server Management:**
- Configure, deploy, and maintain web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, Microsoft IIS).
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of web server environments.
2. **Infrastructure Configuration:**
- Set up and configure server operating systems (Linux, Windows) and related software.
- Implement and maintain server configurations, ensuring alignment with best practices.
3. **Automation and Scripting:**
- Develop and utilize scripts for automation tasks to streamline server management processes.
4. **Networking:**
- Manage network configurations, including DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
5. **Security:**
- Implement and enforce security measures for web servers, including SSL/TLS configurations, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
6. **Monitoring and Performance Tuning:**
- Set up monitoring tools to track server performance and respond to alerts promptly.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization.
7. **Backup and Disaster Recovery:**
- Establish and manage backup strategies for critical data.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
8. **Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security professionals.
9. **Documentation:**
- Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
10. **Cloud Infrastructure:**
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) if applicable, managing instances, storage, and networking.
11. **Database Interaction:**
- Collaborate with database administrators for systems that involve databases, ensuring smooth integration.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Linux Professional Institute Certification, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server).
- Strong understanding of web server technologies, networking, and security principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and automation tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
