Write Ubunutu bash scripts to check server configuration

I am an independent contractor that works for a number of small business in New Zealand. I require a server hardening checking script. I require someone with a software development background and a good knowledge of Linux to write a number of bash scripts to check the hardening of a Linux server. I have a detailed requirement document which I can provide. The contractor(you) would be required to write small simple bash scripts that query a server configuration parameter such as logging directory or if a service is running and report = echo PASS or FAIL. This is urgent need and so I would require the scripts as soon as possible - probably as each is finished emailed to me for QA - then a payment for hours or percentage of total project. An example would be something like this. Audit: 1. Search the Apache configuration files ( [login to view URL] and any included configuration files /etc/apache2/*) to find a root <Directory> element. 2.
