An exciting opportunity has become available at Simply Unique for talented creative Graphic Designers/Art workers on a collaboration slash freelance basis. We aim to collaborate with as many creatives as possible on a Trade For Print Basis. We also are looking for some freelance workers to help with the production side. We are looking for a creative Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our clients needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including websites, books, magazines, product packaging, websites, exhibitions, corporate identity etc. and you will cooperate with our designers and sales [login to view URL] goal is to get the clients’ message across. Responsibilities • Cultivate a solid body of work • Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs • Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts • Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas • Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval • Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc. Requirements • Proven graphic designing experience • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc) • Highly proficient in all design aspects • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines Skills required: You'll need: The ability to use design Use software including Microsoft Office Adobe Cloud, Photoshop Illustrator and more design software at ease. Budgeting and organisational skills The ability to communicate ideas to colleagues and clients 3. What you'll do: Your day-to-day tasks may include: Discussing the client's requirements, producing rough sketches or computer visuals Preparing designs using specialist software Producing a final layout including letter size and colours Working to budgets and deadlines Explaining requirements to photographers and printers Keeping up with design trends We will need the following design work on a monthly basis: Posters, Banners, Advertisement Campaign Materials and Marketing designs as well as re branding.
