Mechanical engineer (Full-time / round-trip Belgium based) - Solidworks

Hi! For the development of a consumer electronic device (similar to laptops/ portable DVD players / rotating screens camcorder), we are looking for a mechanical engineer with considerable experience with locking systems buttons sliding rails bending cables torque small springs in mid/small size components. If you are mainly experienced in buildings/construction or in pure design only, please do not apply. If you have a particular knowledge with the development of electronic oriented products: tablets, laptops, friction hinges, as well as mould optimisation / pricing and BOM cost reduction, this is an additional plus. You will have to perform strengths / friction / bending / resistance / stress simulations and tests in order to save time instead over prototyping. The products you have developed are available on the market, proving you have experience with mass production / corrections and fine-tuning including Off-Tools-Samples (OTS reviews), this is a HUGE plus. If you have no experience with mass production or molding, please do not apply. Offered accommodation in the workplace, in a private domain, in the heart of nature, in a working/family atmosphere. The position is to be started ASAP. If you are selected, we need you to move to Belgium for a few months minimum, for a full time job, to come work with the team.
