Business Manager As a Business Manager, you can have a positive impact in developing and executing organizational, operational and business processes, and assist with strategy development, as well as ownership of cross group initiatives. If you thrive under pressure and are comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, you are a Prime 8 Business Manager. You will be a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and will be in a rare position to have line of sight across the entire business as well as interaction across the company. The Business Manager will have a voice at the leadership table, while also being a resource to help support the broader strategic and operational needs of the team. This role calls for a balance of collaborative leadership and influential skills across the team and beyond, in addition to supportive individual contributions. Responsibilities: Business Planning: • Lead the business planning process aligned with the goals, priorities and budgets. • Partner with the leadership team to identify and allocate resources across teams. • Manage the leadership and team ROB to ensure that the right priorities are executed against, accountabilities are set, complete plans are crafted, internal and external syncs with other teams are well-orchestrated. • Develop agenda and execute regular LT meetings, Extended LT meetings, quarterly All Hands, morale events and planning meetings and offsite events. Communications: • Develop and execute a strong communications plan for the team, keeping teams informed and aligned on strategy and organizational changes. • Develop communications in word and slides that clearly articulates Enterprise Marketing’s Strategy and it impacts to our Field, Customers and Partner. Basic Qualifications: • BA or MA degree in business management, finance, marketing or communications with 8+ years of experience in areas directly relevant to responsibilities described above. • A financial aptitude is a requirement along with strong business planning and project management skills. • Ability to connect pragmatic operational issues with the strategic big picture. • Candidate ideally has experience in an organization linked to Enterprise customers. Experience in dealing with field and partners in the external corporate environment is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Show analytic thinking with attention to detail. • Must be detail and process oriented, and effective at influencing without authority and driving work through others. • Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with senior executives, proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and build virtual teams to effectively collaborate with others. Strong OneNote, Excel & PowerPoint skills are a plus.
