"The Operating System is not presnetly configured to run this application" - error message

Trying to launch an app that was customed built for our company. We get the folloiwng message:
"The Operating System is not presnetly configured to run this application"
We get that on all computers, in diffrent locations so it is NOT the softeware. It must be Windows since on a MAC it si working. So probably need to uninstall Windows Updates or find a workaround solution. The problem is that it seems to be a security update in Windows that we can't "uninstall.
