First of all, I would say that what you want to achieve (indoor navigation) is not trivial. Don't worry! now this feature with Map is completely available on iOS and Android. As it was completely possible to do even before, but the way was some complicated. Such as we had to wait for a good network connectivity, a good server communication with Client, a good map orientation etc.. Anyway, let's come to the point. With the Indoor Navigation map feature we can provide: A simple and intuitive user interface with a floor-by-floor view to map stores A directory listing of retailers with their promotional offers. We can't use a regular map (Maps, Google Maps, etc) because we can't rely on the GPS indoor. Hence we should have to place beacons around the exhibition area to position the users with triangulation and some calculations. In this regard, we should explore third party libraries like: MapsPeople Estimote Features of those SDK are divided into two parts: Client: part is dedicated to being used inside publicly distributed applications featuring Beacons or Nearables integration Utility: was created to support apps that manage Beacons and Nearables.
