Hi,
We are looking to add certificate to Android Vuzix M100 but we want our users not having a lock screen. This is for EAP-TLS WiFi connections in companies.

What we want
Certificate .cer and .pem (PK12)
No lock screen of any kind (PIN, PASSWORD or PATTERN)
We found out this solution but not sure if it can work:

To add the certificate, you need to
1. Copy the .p12 certificate to the root of your storage partition (/data/media or /sdcard)
2. Then, go to Setting --> Security --> Install from storage and then enter the certificate password.
Once you do that, Android will force you to set up a lockscreen policy. Make sure you select the Password option and enter a password. Make sure you remember this password.
Next, using adb shell or a terminal emulator, backup the user credentials/certificates using the following commands:
$ su
# cp -R /data/misc/keychain /sdcard/certificates/
# cp -R /data/misc/keystore /sdcard/certificates/
Next, go to Settings --> Security and click Clear credentials.
Next, go to Settings --> Security --> Screen lock and select your preferred option (for example, Slide)
Next, using adb shell or a terminal emulator, restore the user credentials/certificates using the following commands:
$ su
# cp -R /sdcard/certificates/* /data/misc/
Reboot your phone/tablet.
Verify your certificate under Settings --> Security --> Trusted credentials --> User.
Finally, set up your enterprise WiFi and select your CA & User certificates and enter the remaining information.
When you are done, you may be prompted to enter the Credentials Storage password. This is the same password you entered above when setting up the lockscreen password. Keep this password. You may need to re-enter the password when you re-connect to the network after a reboot.
Next, you may be prompted to set up the lockscreen policy again. Click Cancel.
You can now connect to your enterprise WiFi without a lockscreen pin/password requirement.
