We are looking for a supplier to develop a mobile application for our product. A high level spec is attached. This spec mentions that the app is phase two, however, this is now the focus.
We will shortlist a number of suppliers for this project and then select from those. We are looking for bidders who will work on fixed price, so please do not submit bids that are hourly rates or placeholder bids. If you are unable to provide a fixed price for the project, please do not submit a bid.
The shortlisted applicants will be required to provide a couple of mock ups showing your idea for how you envisage our application to look. We are not expecting any working solutions, just a couple of images showing the design creativity you will bringing to our brand. Please do not direct us to previous work, we are interested in the capabilities you will bring to our brand not what you have done for others. This is a redline in our selection process. If you do not feel able to provide a couple of screenshot as a part of your offer, please do not bid. For the avoidance of doubt, we expect potential bidders to provide this without cost. If you do not have the confidence in your design abilities to put together a sample, you are probably not a good fit for this project. Copies of our branding will be supplied to shortlisted bids for the purposes of creating the mockups.
Finally, budget is very tight on this project. We are looking for a supplier that understands this and understands the constraints on a startup project and is prepared to provide a competitive bid. Please do not ask what the budget is, experience shows that when this is disclosed, bids come in at exactly this price. A significant, but not exclusive, selection criteria will be price.
The selected bidder will be required to sign a NDA.
