I am applying for the Application Development of Plantation Suitable Areas opportunity. I am a graduate of Salisbury and Moi Universities with a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Management and Bachelor’s degree in Geography respectively. My vast skills and experience of over 8 years in GIS, Remote Sensing and Mobile GIS ensure that I am an individual who know how to accomplish geospatial workflows and tasks personally. In my prior jobs, I worked in capacity of Geospatial Consultant, Geospatial Training Consultant, GIS Analyst and GIS and Remote Sensing Instructor, which required that I complete different tasks. I know that I would be a great fit for the opportunity and would be able to deliver. I have experience in training and using GIS and Remote Sensing software including but not limited to ArcGIS Suite, Q-GIS, Global Mapper, ENVI, Erdas Imagine etc With skills and experience of over 9 years in GIS analysis and web app development using Google Map API, I will use ArcGIS 10.6 to carry out Weighted overlay analysis based on the criterias provided and weights applied to each criteria for areas suitable for plantation.
