Hi, I've developed different apps in GPS tracking field including an app similar to Uber for "Autologica Systems" in UK, an app for Grocery Delivery like InstaCart and so on. Shared prefs is not a good place to store your gps points and it's better to put them in local database and then sync them more easily with server.
