I've decided to apply for the project as I have been working on similar projects for some time now. I have done these projects mostly for car customization for activating different light panels using Android app which communicates with hardware usign bluetooth. I can write an Arduino code to control the motor the way you would be wanting, and if we are using DC motor, we will be able to control the speed as well. We will be need to use Motor controller as well with connected to Arduino in order to motor to work with Arduino. I can help you will these wiring as well, if you need help.
