Compose a Motif and Theme Song for an Indie Game

Background: We are in the process of making an isometric game called Ranchers of Kyvos ([login to view URL]). Ranchers of Kyvos is a unique ranching simulator RPG blending rich storylines with a mellow gameplay where you breed and manage animals called kyvos. The Project: The game has many talented people working on it, but one of the missing pieces we'll need (both for advertising purposes and for use in game) is background music. I'm a big fan of how the Hollow Knight music was composed and implemented and even though our game is no where near the same subject matter and the music won't be implemented anywhere as creatively as Hollow Knight's was, I am looking for a solid motif that we can rely on for future compositions as well as a short 1-2 min composition where the motif is being used in a themsong that we'll use for a game trailer once we get to that point. The chosen freelancer will be given even more details in private about the lore and setting of the game to give you some inspiration, as well as ideas I might have, but after that, it'll be up to the freelancer to see what will work best. How You Can Win: I'll be picking the freelancer based partly on their previous work experience, but also on what sorts of things they are interested in as that will give me an idea of what kind of music you're familiar with, so please let me know what are your favorite games, stories or movies so I can have a point of reference of your passions.
